Why He Writes

Many pens have burned under his finger and much more ink will be spilled before his story is done:

He writes the song in his heart
He writes to see where he has been
He writes to see where he is going
He writes when he would rather just cry
He writes when the world is too dry
He writes for all those who have had a dream, yet have not found it
He writes for all those who suffer but cannot express it
He writes for his occasional joys
He writes for his moments of bliss
He writes to comfort his dreamer's heart
He writes to empty out the demons of his soul
He writes because he has a story to tell
He writes because sometimes it is his only friend
He writes because he knows it needs to be written
He writes because the absence of it makes him gray
He writes because he writes

Follow the dreamer if you will, and if these words just don't suit you, then turn the page because the dreamer doesn't write for you, he writes for the song in his heart.--ED
